I'm JM. I'm 22 year old student at the University of Florida. I'm a pretty smart guy who has done some really dumb things, but I've gained so much more from being here these last few years than I will probably ever realize. I work as a tutor for pocket change, and am looking for something a bit more regular to help pay my education bills. I made it a goal this year to write more often, about myself and to other people. One of the things I have discovered this past year are the joys of the US postal service, which is actually a really neat entity. My first long-distance relationship started because of snail mail, so I have had some good experience with it, even though I've moved on past that. I'm hoping starting a journal and saving my correspondence will help me keep track of the changes I go through, keep in touch with my best friends, and help to build a legacy or heritage that I can someday give to others so they can learn a little bit more about my past. I have read books made of letters by famous people, and even though I don't hope to become a world changer someday, I think it's awesome how those documents give us so much more insight and understanding of people than we otherwise would have.
